2012 marks the 55th year of the Christmas City of the North parade. This year, we’ve added some fun contests to celebrate Duluth’s most attended event of the year! Let creativity shine with our “Best in Show Float Contest.” On the night of the parade we will upload photos of the Christmas City Parade floats. Our audience will be asked to vote on their favorite float and the winner will receive a free entry in next year’s parade! Secondly, we will have our “Christmas City Coloring Contest.” Children within three age groups will be asked to share their artistic talents and send in their coloring for a chance to win a $25 Visa card. The top three in each age group will be chosen by the KBJR 6 and Range 11 staff and the final winners will be chosen by our audience.
